A few weeks into training and no cortisone shots I was in agony, my right arm was in so much pain from bone spurs in my elbow, which had been bothering me for a while. "I love kickboxing!! I've never been athletic or someone who would stick to a gym program for more than a couple of weeks. I joined Dedham Yoga about 9 months ago and I love it! Shelley continues to come up with ideas to make each class different so it never gets boring. You don't have that dreaded feeling of going to the gym and running on the treadmill. It's such a fun workout with a great instructor and great people. It is perfect for all levels of fitness. I never once felt uncomfortable or embarrassed and that says a lot for me as I said before, athletics were never my cup of tea! You get to punch, kick and work off any stress. I never thought I could be one of those people who got up early and exercised before work but I enjoy the class so much it's just part of my schedule now. And an added bonus, I have gone down an entire pant size!! What a perfect excuse to go shopping J. I can even see muscle tone in my arms and legs! Such a confidence booster.
